Jonathan Ray, DPM, is an experienced podiatric surgeon at Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Center in Chandler and Laveen, Arizona. He specializes in various conditions and fields, including sports medicine, arthritis, trauma, fracture care, tendon pathology, and ruptures. Dr. Ray earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. Before that, he studied at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and the University of Arizona in Phoenix, where he completed his undergraduate studies. His bachelor’s is in Public Health from the University of Arizona.
Completing his residency at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Ray’s training emphasized forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction. He also trained in ankle pathology, trauma, elective reconstruction, arthroscopy, diabetic wound care, limb salvage, and limb deformity correction.
Dr. Ray was raised in a military family throughout the United States and Europe. Outside his career, he enjoys spending time with his wife, four kids, and their dog. He enjoys going on adventures, mountain biking, road biking, dirt biking, and participating in sporting activities. Dr. Ray is fluent in Malay.
